Teddy rolled up six go-gangers; two troll brothers named Semi (a decker) and Tar Trail (A fighter AND a lover), Wheely (a driver), an Ork known as Da Boss, an unnamed human conjurer with a Force 1 Spirit, and Winner (a gambler and Face with a Force 2 Casino spirit).
The game begins with Winner stepping out of a casino and into a public park, maybe for the first time in his life. The relief of the freshest air the Sprawl has to offer restored some of the boxes of drain damage that he’d taken while summoning his spirit. The gang tried to cross the street together and were almost run over by a crew of 5 rival shadowrunners! After a few turns of combat Winner coughed up some of his casino winnings and bribed the runners to leave the gang be. They (finally) crossed the street to a rough block and were beset by a naga, a magical snake man who was slinging fireballs while standing next to a barrel fire. The gang took him out but the ruckus drew the attention of a Lone Star attack helicopter. The gang dealt a single point of damage to the thing while evading through the rubble strewn lot. After eleven turns of combat Tar Trail “locked in” and delivered the remaining nine condition boxes needed to take out the chopper. When the dust settled, the spirits had been blown away and each ganger had only a single condition box remaining. At this point they decided to lodge a complaint at Lone Star headquarters. Unable to talk their way past the front desk, they encountered a security Sasquatch who trilled bird song as Tar Trail lifted the critter over his head and impaled it on his horns. In a rage he threw the Sasquatch corpse at the elevator bank, giving the team no chance to ascend mechanically. Mounting the stairs, each team member took the single remaining point of damage needed to incapacitate them! Phew! Game Over.
In the course of the game, TMMPL pulled a Joker and rolled a 6 giving him the Combat challenge. Enjoy this video of him setting up and knocking down some targets!
